The only person im worried about in this game....is TE Jeremy Shocky

im not worried about thier WR's with newman and Henry healthy..an we still got glenn..they dont scare me or worry me.....im just worried about our coverage on Jeremy

last year in the first game i think we should do wat we did last time....Newman and Glenn both held amani toomer to 0 catches...and sumtimes wed leave glenn over there..n put newman on shockey..n they didnt throw that way...i just dun really trust our lbs..or safties to cover him..i think newman has the athletic ability to not let his size bother him

and thier D dosent scare me....thier secondary is crap....i hope to god they try n sit back n play zone...if they blitz..n we pick it up..bye bye

oh and im not scared of Tiki runnig the ball...just on ******* screen plays..we gotta have roy up close to the LOS

Shockey will fold when it gets tough or Roy comes calling. I am not worried about him. He is a lot more mouth then production.

Strahan....Umenyiora....Barber....maybe Burress/Toomer.

Those are the guys that concern me.

Shockey will drop his usual one or two passes....Manning will throw a half dozen scattershot duck passes. And there isn't anyone else on that team that scares me.

The problem is, one their strengths plays right into our weakness...They can generate a lot of pressure on the QB.

Their other strength, running the ball, plays right into one of our strengths.

Gotta stop their pass rush. For me, that's the whole game.

Their WR's aren't great...but they do have a knack for making the occasional big play. That's the concern for me.

But it's the first three guys that I listed who truly have me concerned.

You're spot on about the pass rush though. I just keep having visions of Umenyiora getting around the edge. But honestly these days I think the line is doing much better on the edges, the problem has been with stunts and flooding the interior.

But if their defense gives them a short field, that's a problem.

The other problem is, a pass rush like they generated in the second game last year, energizes the entire team.

The Giant DT's aren't exactly slouches and with so much attention given to the DE's, the middle opens up. Remember the first play of the second half last year?

Bunyon back there.If they can protect him then their
corners will get lit up.Roy needs to re introduce himself
to the Giants,and if this defense plays to its potential,the
Boys win.
