Should this game have been won more impressively: probably.
But none of you (except the mentally impaired) would have predicted an 11-1 record at this point. I certainly didn't think so.
Take a deep breath and relax. This team is still pretty young, but it's already back.
The fun is just beginning.
I've followed the Cowboys since Day One, all the way back in 1960, and have never seen them playing better than they are now... oh, I think they've had better teams before, but back then those teams had more legitimate competition for supremacy; this year, there are only 5 teams I see as having a legit shot at the Super Bowl-- the Pats, the Boys, the Colts, the Steelers and the Packers...
Any Cowboys fan who can't enjoy what's happening this year has my deepest sympathy, because at some point they must have had their sense of fun surgically removed...
Screw the critics, all I need to read is 11-1... at this point, if they just win 3 of their last 4 (and I think they have a real shot at running the table), they're guaranteed to have home field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs, and they'll wind up with their best single season record ever...
Now, if only the Giants can lose this weekend, the Boys can clinch the NFC East championship with a full month to go in the regular season... works for me...
