To those nay sayers who say we wont make the superbowl: well you are absolutely right. I think there is more of a chance of Mideast peace.

But my thoughts: I have watched the Cowboys win 4 superbowls and I guess I should be all set as its is a privilege not many today will be able to have. I should just enjoy football for what it is. Enjoy the wins and let the losses roll off my shoulder.

As for the game, it was nice to see Adrian Peterson come back for a great performance. AP made his own gaps through brute strength. Too bad we didn't get him and use the EE pick on another player. EE is darn good though so its just thinking out loud on my part.

The game was suspenseful thus entertaining and fulfilled the requirement of watching a good football game if youre not too upset that Israel and Palestine will be in harmony before the Cowboys win another Superbowl with the Jones's as owners.

The Cowboys and their fans have made the Jones's quite wealthy and not too many can keep up with that. They have put a lot of hard work into the team unfortunately there is a salary cap that binds their hands now and all that money can't buy a Superbowl; and they wont win a Superbowl in the slipshod fashion they are running this team.

One correction IMO...it’s the fans who have made the Jones cartel wealthy. And the fans are who Jerry respects the least.

I wanted AD bad in 2015. Would have loved to have seen him run behind this line. Maybe if we had gotten him we wouldn't have been in shotgun, empty backfield on the play that Hicks snapped Romo's collarbone in week 2 and we win the SB in 2015 with AD breaking the single season rushing record.

Yea, I cant see the fans not feeling used by the Jones's Cartel. Building that new stadium was a risk JJ took but in the end, it was the fans that made it profitable.

I'm right there with you, I've watched them win and lose championships, I haven't seen that type of team since around '95.
I enjoy football, I enjoy my team winning more and it's very disappointing to watch knowing that they actually have a pretty good team.

I would not say the Jones are running the team in a slipshod fashion. In fact from my view they are getting better bringing in talent through the draft and resisting the urge to get outside players. But this only last so long when you are missing one part of the puzzle.

They are not seeing the truth in what is on the field.

The great O line is not so great this season.

Just when the defense makes the turn to being very good the offense is going bad.

Does this team have a lot of talent. Yes.

Is it well coached on the Defensive side - I would say yes.

Is it well coached on the offensive side - this season not the best. A lot had to do with the starting block O line and Fred Beard going out.
Then the inconsistent play of Dak.

This year they should look good and hard at the QB. Number one. Then everything else.
I do not think that Dak is the answer. Is he a good QG yes. But not one who will get better.

Are we wasting the best years remaining for the O line and Zek. Yes.

Cowboys have some great names on that field, the staff just cant get them in sync.

Another thought is are they great names just because they play for the Cowboys (Americas Team) as Washington had some players we never heard that were quite great last night in stopping Zeke. Sometimes being a Cowboy makes a player feel better than he actually is and ends up with a rude awakening.

Jerry hasn’t made many (if any) real economic risks since the night he bought this team. Jerry didn’t buy a badly damaged brand in 1989. Yes, I know as JJ constantly reminds us, the team was losing a mil in cash a month before he “rescued” the brand. If he had bought the Cleveland franchise, he wouldn’t be worth 5 billion.

Actually, the Cowboys product on the field in the 90s is what rescued the team. Yes, Jerry did some good things with business decisions. But a trained elephant could have become a billionaire with the way this league is set up. And the absolute best brand in the NFL even in 1989 was the Dallas Cowboys.

.

I agree with you on the watching of Super Bowl wins. I have seen four as well, and that is not something that every NFL fan can say.

But in no means was it nice to see AP have a great performance. I can't ever root for a Commander, Giant or Eagle as it goes against everything that is good in this world. I feel the same about the 49ers, Cardinals and Steelers, but not as strongly as our NFC East foes.

It was mainly after the fact when the loss was finally absorbed in. Looking back and saying to myself, we may have been able to have AP and have him doing this for us instead of the Skins and having another lineman instead of Zeke.

Superbowl?we are not getting it or even being close while Jerry Jones in charge of every aspect of this team.Get used to that.

Jerry has proven the brand is indestructible as there is still a huge fan base 22 years removed from any deep playoff run. Now one hole in the fanbase is the kids of us older Cowboys fans. This 22-year window of mediocrity has, for the most part, resulted in Jerry losing an entire generation of would-be Cowboys fans, especially in the DFW area of Texas. Poll 100 in the Dallas area under the age of 30, and you'll find 10% are Cowboys fans while the other 90% are fans of NFL teams that have had a deep playoff run in the past 22 years.

AP didn’t have to make his own holes. You could have drove a truck through the holes where AP ripped off big runs. He’s still a marvel at 33 tho.

Cowboys have the same cap as every other team. It is neither an advantage nor disadvantage. The Jones family may work hard but they have no talent for putting together a football team........so says the last 22 years.

Now hold on, Jerry hosted a Super Bowl in 2011 when the Packer beat the Steelers. Unfortunately, 2011 is one of those years in the 22 drought so I guess it means nothing. I am putting aside some extra money every month to help pay for the tar and feathers required when Jerry erects (snicker) his own status right outside the stajum.

Wake me up when Jason Garrett is gone. Before this aint happening you can make changes on Coordinators aslong as you want. He is the worst Part of the Team from the Day he got the Job.

Yea, and the point I make is all the money wont do them any good running the team like they are. They need to learn from other teams that are successful and consistent at being successful. Dallas owners needs to go back to square one and look deeply into themselves but I feel they are too up there to do that and firmly believe they are doing right when in fact they are being narrow sighted.
