Can't really get on the field with AP there?

Think the Vikes would bite?

I'd be for it... Randle is just not the guy, you gotta break a tackle sometimes

He reminds me of Peyton Hillis, who kinda reminds me of Mike Alstott, these guys are slow but pack a lunch (and punch a timeclock) They aren't very talented (according to guys like Mike Mayock) he also has a lot of Paul Ott Caruth and Tommy Vardell in him.

I mean, I figure they might be willing to part with him for a middle round pick (5th or 6th). RBs don't usually bring in a ton in a trade in term of picks.
He's never really gotten an opportunity for more carries in MN, we could use a steady RB without injury issues.

Na, Runs just like Brad Muster with some Larry Csonka sprinkled on top

Real gritty, luch pale guys. Works hard in the gym, first to practice and last to leave.

Wouldn't mind him on the team, but I think it would be a waste. Our RBs are not the issue IMO.

Yeah, silly move to give up a draft pick for another RB.

At this point, Randle looks like a 3rd down back. Murray is always injured. Tanner is a tough runner, but doesn't seems to produce (volume runner).

We don't really have an answer at RB outside of Murray. Gerhart has averaged 4.5 yards a carry in his career and is a decent receiver out of the backfield.

We don't need a stud RB, but no one fits the *starting* role outside of Murray.

Murray should be back soon, unless I missed a setback that he had.

my question is why do some teams just throw anyone out there at RB and have at least some success? This is why I still say there is a fundamental flaw somewhere with this offense. Too often the offense just cannot get untracked. Passing, running, doesnt matter. Too often they are ineffective. Its something more than the players.

We need defensive linemen preferably ones who can pass rush well and play decent run defense. We also need a DB or two. Add in a couple of OL.
