Only player on the team as of this moment that will bring out a nostalgic tear or two years from now. Romo is oh-so-close (for me, mind you) and Dez could definitely be one of those guys.

But for now- Witten, I'm sorry Whitten. Whitten? This board is brainwashing me... Is my guy that I know I will miss in a nostalgic sense years after he's gone from the team.
Pure Warrior. Pure dedication. Last of the true old school of players. Loves the Star and represents it well along with that burning passion from camp to the last second of the last game of the year.

True Football Player.

How long can he play? His game isn't built on athleticism so he could play several more productive years. I wonder if Romo and Witten hang em up at the same time.

Witten had 943 catches before his 33rd birthday -- more than any other player, at any position, in NFL history.

One of the best ever in Cowboys and NFL history -- and yet, still underrated because he doesn't dye his hair/get a full sleeve tattoo/call out other players/host a TV show about monster trucks.
