I dont start too many threads but need to put this out there. Today has been the first day since our loss ive been bummed out. Let's keep our heads up and be thankful we cheer for the Star. Maybe after ratings are low the league will tell the refs it's ok for us to win one.

Time to let it go guys. It sucks but onward we go through time. It was still a great season and fun to watch. We have a great future ahead of us. Just need to shore up a few things and we should be considered dangerous in the NFC.

I will say this, because we were so close I am interested in this game more than if we would have been 8-8. (pitiful consolation but hey it's something)

Still can't understand us lining up in empty with both Elliott and McFadden on the sideline. I understand this somewhat with Romo, but our whole identity either Dak was to stick with the run. We had an identity and we tried to get cute. McFadden had ZERO touches. What happened to ground and pound? Smfh.

I am the opposite. I believe I was more interested in the playoffs in general last season because it was the first time I seen football that meant something in a while.

I am so sick of losing like everyone else. Cowboy fans in general should have a lot to do look forward to in the future considering what we did this year with a rookie backfield.

At least with the Cowboys sitting home today, you can "enjoy" the game because from my 5 Cowboys SB experiences I could never enjoy watching any of the games because I was too nervous. The only time I could ever relax and enjoy the moment was when we had SB VI, XII and SB XXVII wrapped up in the 4th quarter. I attended SB XXVII and was so nervous I almost puked a few minutes before KO.

I've been over the Cowboys loss ever since the day it happened because I expected it. Didn't like how the regular season ended and I didn't think we would get past the Packers, Falcon's or NE in the SB. Had the playoffs started between weeks 5-10 we could have beaten anyone but not the team we had entering the playoffs.

It's been 21 years since the Cowboys have been to a SB, sadly most of us have become immune to the team either missing the playoffs or getting knocked off. They haven't made it past the divisional round since their last SB win. What would have really bummed everyone out would have been getting knocked off by Atlanta in the conference title game or losing today to NE. Nothing can bum you out more than a title game loss or losing the SB. This is coming from a fan who's experienced those huge disappointments multiple times. The farther you go in the playoffs the more disappointing it is to lose.

I'm not really bummed today. Was bummed watching the Packers get killed by the Falcons because it showed how far away we really are. But we had no place in today's game. The two best teams are playing.
It was bad luck and coaching. The Cowboys are better than they showed against the Packers. Much better. They will kill the Pack next year!

But it's always bad luck and coaching. Doesn't matter how good we are, we always find a way to screw it up.

Every team matches up differently... Just becuase the Falcons blew out the Packers doesnt mean we would have lost to the Falcons. But if it helps find justification in the loss thinking we wouldnt have gone further so be it...

Right there with you, I've chosen to pass on the super bowl this year and havent missed one in a very long time. The loss is still dissapointing and I have zero interest in the Super Bowl this year. I'll be ready to move on possibly when free agency starts, or maybe come draft time. I hope too the Super Bowl ratings slide.....

It's not like this year is any different then all the rest. I know how you feel but maybe I'm just used to it but after a few days it doesn't get to me as much. As I said before, I just hope we win another SB before I die. lol
