We are in trouble.

We basically have a handful of problems with this team:

1. QB...we won't win with Bledsoe PERIOD.

2. Inexperience on defense.

3. Flo and the speed rush inside.

4. Gurode and inside blitzes.

5. Kick returners who have no burst, they look like they are tip-toeing in quicksand.

6. A coach who is HOF level, who is at junior high level at in game adjustments.

The blueprint to beat us:

Put the game in Bledsoe's hands.

Rush inside on Flo and stunt, twist and blitz on Gurode.

Be physical with our WRs.

Attack us with misdirection and spread us in our base defense.

Do something unexpected because it will take our coaches 53 minutes to realize a rollout and a quick out/in might work against that inside pressure.

But the bluprint has always been there, bring pressure down the middle at Bledsoe. Punch Flo in the mouth early and take him out of his game.

I just think when they are sending 4 guys in between the guards there are too many to block. 4 is more than 3 according to my math.

agreed....to me the 2 TE system with the ability to "squeeze" down on the inside was to be the answer here......are we saving that look for the playoffs?

Hmmm, that would explain why in his first go around at center we had Walter...if memory serves...making the line calls.

Neither is complete as a center, and with Bledsoe the center is key in pass protection.

thats an NFL team also a division rival. The game is played, our team has some good things happen and so does theirs.

The bottom line we had the ball on the 6 yd line 1st and goal. 1st play throws the ball away great. 2nd play throws into double coverage(int for td). The QB has time to throw.

The rest of the game was leading to that point. Indy was losing to the Titans in the 4th quarter but their qb finds a way to win. We had a chance to get back in the game at the end like always.

Last year in Seatle it was 10-10 then an int puts the
Seahawks kick a 50yd FG. Against the Jags Have the ball at the end to tie an int is thrown(We Lose). Now Today have the ball in the 6 yd line and an int for a td.

I never could figure out when the Eagles were getting so much inside pressure why we didn't go to the shotgun. Seemed like an obvious thing to do, but the coaches kept Bledsoe right under center where he was smacked around all day as he tried to take a few steps backwards.

In his first go-round he was a rookie who had played guard for what, 4 years? Kind of a learning curve.

The fact is we have no idea if the line calls were right or wrong.

I will say this - Bledsoe calls the snap count too fast. He would snap it right when the defense started to show blitz - there was no time for the line to adjust.
