Thats right. And with a rookie wr, a rookie center, a first year player at LG and a rookie TE in the game. But somehow many view that as bad coaching - laughable really.

What does that matter? Every coach in the league faces these challenges. Hell, Kiffin has half his starting DL out, a rookie at S and one coming off an achilles tear, two second year players in a new scheme, and his star player nicked up and playing a new position.

Everybody has these excuses.

What i truly wish could happen? The team uses today as a launching point and goes on to say,win 4 of their next 5 in route to a 10 win season. Then yes. He keeps his job.
What I fully expect to happen? The team comes out flat the next few weeks, having blown its wad in its once a year great performance this week. Loses 3 of their next 5 in route to another 8-8 or worse season. He's gone. And rightfully so.

Judging from the replies, it seems that when Garrett gets an extension its not going to be a popular decision on this board.

It took a FG on the last play of the game for the best team in the NFL to beat us today. The smallest margin of victory for Denver in the last 16 regular season games.
LOL a veteran team looking for moral victories.

Garrett will surely be extended now - Even cowboys fans thought we would be blown out- And Garrett had his team in the drivers seat to beat the team that everyone said was unbeatable in the last 2 minutes of the game. The defense only stopped Denver one time but the offense with 4 first year players (3 rookies) was able to keep pace. Jerry will take note of this I am sure.
You serious, Clark?

LOL a veteran team looking for moral victories.

this team probably has more 1st and 2nd year players playing than any other team.

Claiborne, Wilcox, Church, Leary, Frederick, Escobar, T Williams, Beasely. How long has Harris been playing wr - 3 years now - i dont know. I think B Carter is in his 2nd or 3rd year playing. Besides Ware and Hatcher - the rest of the D-Line dont have many starts under their belt. T Smith is how old (22 i think).
