Todays game just got bigger

Tony always seems to take a couple of games after an injury or at the start of the season to get the rust off. So if they don't make the switch against Detroit, then don't bother making it at all unless Dak gets hurt or we are so far behind we just hope for a miracle.

Quarterback controversy, when the Cowboys are going to run the ball down the Buccaneer's throats?

Too many ****in chicken Littles on this damn site. No one said it wold be easy. We have a game to win tonight.
Lol, what the Giants did matters only to some fans...what the Cowboys do tonight, will only be against Tampa Bay. Period.

And when Romo struggles in the 2nd half, Dak will be put back in to finish the game.
Its not the matter of whole offense , only way Romo will be inserted in game is Dak is obviously struggling with reads, confused and make mistakes - like turning over . But if offense stinks as a whole , better to wait for next week and put him in with a full week of practice .

I think the giants game told us a lot about this team and coaching staff
I disagree. Every team has adversity they must overcome. This game will tell us about their ability to adjust and respond. They lose tonight then we have our answer and it will be in the negative. They win and they are finally different and a serious contender. But I'm still not optimistic about this coaching staff. 11-2 doesn't change my mind that they are suspect.

It hasn't changed my mind either. The last 2 weeks the coaching has been very suspect.

That is highly, highly unlikely.

They might go back to Dak next week if Romo comes in during the 2nd half and really sucks it up, but I can't imagine them flipping back and forth between them in the same game absent an injury.

they aint flipping in the middle of this game at all. its some people's pipe dream to think Romo will see the field, barring an injury, in this game.

Romo is playing the second half if we're struggling, there's already a QB controversy

but again, Dak is starting and he can shut everyone up
Yep and I bet he shuts up a lot of people today!

No bigger .. not smaller .. it's a must win anyway ...

Had the giants lost, would you relax and not bother of we win or lose? or would you have a must win to wrap up the division?

Why are people so fixated on what giants do? sheesh

1. It is a bigger game because a loss would mean the Giants are within one game.

2. It's not "a must win anyway." I don't think you understand what a must win is.

3. People are "fixated" on the Giants because they are a division rival and on our heels after beating us twice this year.

You must be new to the NFL.

The only person who really knows the answer to that is Jason Garrett. I doubt he's posting on this message board right now.

Personally, I think it makes more sense to switch mid-game than to lose tonight and tell Romo on Monday, "Hey bud, we're in a must-win situation thanks to losing two weeks in a row, and we know you haven't played in over a year, but you now have the pressure of going out and winning us the last two games. Have fun." But I also understand that they might want to give Dak the full Bucs game to straighten things out.

The only scenario I see Romo playing tonight is if Dak is struggling badly and the game is close.

If they're way behind, they don't want Romo in a throw-every-down situation.

The first key to any game we play. Feed Zeeke. Don't have him on the sidelines watching when the game is on the line. That helps any QB.
Going to be tough if Tampa sells out against the run like New York and Minnesota did.

They'll force Dak to throw from the pocket, too.
