I'm a firm believer that if you do good/the right thing,it will come around eventually.
Today,after a small medical procedure(dudes,I got a vasectomy today),went for a burger.
On the drive thru lane,my wife spots a wallet on the ground.
I got out of the vehicle and picked it up and voila,it was indeed someones wallet with everything in it.
Cash,Social security card,drivers' license,credit cards....you name it.
I went home, looked up and located the address and off I went to deliver the thing.

The guy was surprised someone actually returned intact.I made his day.
He offered reward money, but I declined, then asked me my name and said,"Artie(not my real name of course),thank you and God bless you."
I could have kept the cash and dropped in a mailbox, but something did not feel right about it.

There's a show still on Spike I believe called "Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction." I'm sure most have seen it. They had one episode where this young guy who had absolutely no money found a wallet in a park. He decided to do the right thing and return it to the address. When he got there there were two guys who sat him down and questioned him about it -where he found it and when. He got freaked out and when he got up to leave he noticed pictures in the house of a man who looked a lot like him. Turns out the guy who owned the wallet died a few years prior, and he was extremely wealthy. The kid happened to be the guy's only living relative and he recieved a huge inheritance. It was a true story. Very wierd.

I once dropped my cell phone in the parking lot of a movie theater. I had a guy go through my contacts, see my mom programmed in there, call her, and leave a number for me to set up a meeting for him to give me my phone back. Sure enough, we did just that.

On the other hand, at a date a couple of years after that, I lost another phone and I called the number to see if I could hear it in the car or whatever and a guy picks up. I try to be nice and tell him that hey, I think you might have "accidently" picked up my phone. He laughed at me and hung up. I don't think there were many times in my life were I was more pissed off.

Oh and I forgot the best part of the second story. I immediately went and got the number switched over to a new phone. Within seconds of the service ending on the old phone and starting on the new one, I got a call from a female looking for the guy that took it. I told her in not so many nice words that the guy she was attempting to call was a complete and total *** monkey. That sort of put a nice cherry on top of that whole deal.

Today's good deed was not cussing out someone on the road while driving home. Something to be said for getting off early.

I found a $10 bill on the floor of the supermarket last week and turned it in. Should have given it to the bum who sits outside the store all day.

I had to mark that one off my list while going to the movies earlier.

We were at a light in the middle of the three lanes. The far right lane is a right turn only lane. I saw a car in that lane and you guessed it she went straight and had the nerve to lay on her horn when she was wrong not me.
