Neck surgery this close to camp can't be a good thing. I know we've had Bass take snaps at center before, but I don't know if we'd trust him at it in a game. I would expect us to make a move, maybe after we PUP Hennessey.

Look at his stats since he's been in Dallas, to me that's a wasted pick. especially since he was already pretty much a bust with Carolina

The trade at the time was a head scratcher based on the season result, but other than carrying 1.5 less contract years I don't think the move was any riskier than other 4th rounders. He did catch 43 balls the prior season and was just a 2nd round pick. However, it should have been a red flag that his playing time was decreasing in a bad offense.

What made the trade look worse is that Adams and Hopkins both were traded at the same time for 3rd and 5th round picks, respectfully that looked like better values, sans the inherited contracts.

I was willing to give him a chance after that partial season without Dak. But last year to have an offseason, training camp and still not do anything with Dak at QB. Don't think he's long for this game.

Agreed. They would love to give him play time so the trade doesn't look bad and he still can't get on the field.
