Are the Cowboys going to move up in the draft?

I think it all depends on what players are still on the board when the second round begins. If the Cowboys are locked into one player they would probably move up to get him. If they just want to draft by position then maybe they just wait and see which guy who is rated highest on their board is there at #51.

That's a good point about more teams running the 34 defense which means there won't be as many adequate OLB's available thru the draft or FA over the next few sesons so they might as well get him now if they can.

Wildcat. James Casey. These are hot button issues right now.

again what i think DC, remember jerry jones said when the cowboys pick, generally there will be 6-7 players in the draft that they like in 2nd round, so i see the cowboys possibly trading down unless a super player is there that they really like;

but that the cowboys trade down 5 slots but no more, and get an extra 3rd or 4th, then with one of the top picks in 3rd round, the cowboys might trade down again, or wait with their war daddy pick jerry jones siad the cowboys have with the 4th overall pick and get another 5th rounder plus a pick in 2010, possibly a future 3rd

then the cowboys will be loaded in the 2nd to 5th rounds, to load up on players because think about it; bill walsh did the same thing back in 1986, and he got some super players in the 2nd to 6th rounds, granted after the top of the 5th round the talent level drops off;

According to Goose's board, which is usually accurate, there should be several players that we like at 51.
