I wouldn't be opposed to it but it is frustrating how we can't find on OL outside of the 1st round in ages. Back in the day we got Larry Allen in the 2nd, Erik Williams and Mark Stepnoski in the 3rd. Those SB teams inherited Nate Newton (USFL FA), Tuinei (UDFA), Kevin Gogan (6th round). Ever since the mid 90's not much. Even Bill Parcells seemed to have a blind spot when it came to OL. It really is unreal how we can't find a stud on day 2 or even hit big at least once or so on day 3.Not gonna lie, spending a #1 on OL again just stinks of poor team building imo. That's be 5 in an 12(?) year span .
It's just not sustainable doing that imo.
You're exactly right. That said, Torrence is a beast. I'd like that pick as much as the Tyler Smith pick..I'd imagine if that was the result of the first round it would be soul crushing for some with Robinson, Addison, Smith-Njigba and Flowers going off the board the four picks before the Cowboys were on the clock.
Yea I’m not crazy about Guards in the 1st round.I wouldn't be opposed to it but it is frustrating how we can't find on OL outside of the 1st round in ages. Porter is projected top 15oline at 26 is the right call. It solidifies everything. If we don't draft him I like the cb porter.
If the talent is worth it, I’m fine with it.Not gonna lie, spending a #1 on OL again just stinks of poor team building imo. That's be 5 in an 12(?) year span .

Torrance is becoming a popular picc. I agree when in the trenchesThis, is again ESPN Plus and he follows Matt Miller's mock with O'Cyrus. For those interested Bijan goes to the Ravens at 22. I'm liking this pick more and more but think he might keep moving up the boards

26. Dallas Cowboys
O'Cyrus Torrence, G, Florida
Torrence has allowed just two sacks over 47 career starts and more than 1,400 pass-block snaps. With Connor McGovern's contract expiring, there is a hole on Dallas' offensive line, and Torrence is a brick wall against power rushers. He looked great at the Senior Bowl two weeks ago, too.
The Cowboys' pick might come down to how the board plays out, though. They might be enticed by Bijan Robinson if he's available, given Tony Pollard is a free agent and Ezekiel Elliott could be a cap casualty. And the WR2 spot behind CeeDee Lamb needs consideration, because Michael Gallup didn't make much of an impact last season. Depth at cornerback and edge rush shouldn't be ignored, either. I'm intrigued by how Dallas approaches these next few months and how the board sets up for this pick in April.
I like the pick. We need to keep the trench picks coming on both sides of the ball. Z Martin is aging, and D Law is too. This, is again ESPN Plus and he follows Matt Miller's mock with O'Cyrus. Interesting how the better teams in the league build their DL and even use high picks at DT. All 4 Eagles starting DL were first rounders. 49ers have three first rounders starting on their DL, including both DT's.The Eagles grabbing players in the trenches in this mock draft I see. Would not be happy seeing Bryan Bresee next to Jordan Davis.

Yeah they gave me pause But he looked pretty agile at the senior bowlDane covered Torrance on the draft show today. Basically if you’re looking for a mauler that can just push in the running game he’s your guy.
If you’re looking for a G with better feet and that can travel more probably not your guy.
