Well hell, all the impatient people that was writing him off after his rookie season, even his second season, showed that they have little knowledge when it comes to football.
Everyone does not hit the field running when they get into the NFL, it takes some players a year or two sometimes 3 before they become the player teams that draft them envision them to be.
The elite athletes (meaning mentally and physically) mostly the ones that are very talented mentally and physically step in their rookie season and contribute, the ones that are a little less going in take a year so on and so forth.

Excellent point! What’s amazing is how so many here don’t get that.

Which makes what Puca did his rookie year even more impressive and should have gotten the Rookie of the Year award....but he is not a QB.

Or maybe he's just a camp star, and his play wont translate onto the field
