Giving Gallup that contract before even seeing him play post-ACL surgery was a major blunder. The Cowboys almost seemed like they were forcing the ball to him in order to try and justify the investment.

At this point Tolbert is clearly the better player and it's about time the playing time reflects it.

Gallup tries to do too much. I keep hearing him scream parkour every time is is near a ball. He up in the air doing splits when he could just reach up and catch the ball like a normal human being.

Gallup's on pace for 544 yards not enough for a #3 on a high priced contract. However, he did have 2 good games of contribution this season. At this point though it kind of reminds me of Allen Hurns when he got paid coming off a couple good seasons.

Too late to do anything with him this season, but perhaps at some point he comes up with that big grab on an important drive this season.

I don’t mind an issue in targets to the #3 and #4 receivers as much as I do our #2 receiver getting just 4 targets.

as a matter of fact Cooks has only been targeted 27 times this year which is just over 4 times a game and has a whopping 16 catches in total.

This is a far cry from what the production of a #2 receiver should be.

To put this in perspective, the Eagles have two receivers OTHER than AJ Brown that average 8 or more targets per game.

Back up the Cowboys “draft dump truck“ to the Raiders facility and get the one player that can INSTANTLY turn this offense into a SB contender.

Christ, I’m starting to sound just like the poster in 2016 that had a nonstop crusade to get Derrick Henry here before the draft

I agree with this, and sad thing his last game was his best game Cooks and that's like 47 yards... The separation for any receiver besides Lamb seems to suck. I do think cb, is likely a bigger need just due to likely injury at some point, but our receivers are a bottom ten unit.

The thing with Gallup he's such a high variance receiver, because he gets 0 separation and all his catches look like highlight reels, where as the catches would just look like pass and catch with a more refined receiver.
