With all the pitchforks and fires outside of the Jones estate, it got me thinking.

Everyone has been so high on Tom Ciskowski since Jeff 'yo momma' Ireland left, but what exactly has he done to help this team.

I'm on my iPhone so I can't type much but this team is still anchored by Parcells players - Romo, Ware, Witten, Spears, Ratliff, Newman, James, Barber, Colombo, Gurode, McBriar, etc. Outside of Spencer, Jenkins, Free and Felix (and the jury is still out on all of them) - we've failed to upgrade critical areas of our team that are constantly exploited.

This thread is basically to gauge and discuss how well Tom has done since taking over as the man when it comes to scouting.

What always amazes me is people tout the numbers of quality starters from Parcells in comparison to Phillips, but never take into account the time that passed before some of these guys made an impact.

Hell even Ware wasn't a complete player until late in year two.

Ratliff didn't excel until Phillips system.

James was a total waste for over 3 years.

We have no idea who may become elite from the more resent drafts.

It's so obvious even a Blind Zebra can see it. :D I think there is a lot of over reaction going on now since we suck this year. Last year I didn't hear any complaints about our scouting department.

It's an emotional load of crap.

Then make a retort instead of scoffing high atop your castle of condescension.

What positive additions to this team have we made to this team since the Tuna left?

Until then you, your borderline *******us defense of the powers that be, and your perpetually silver and blue glasses are an emotional bunch of crap.

What purpose does it serve for me to even answer?

Give me a good reason. I scoff because it is a stupid question. Period, point, blank.

Because you got nothing. Period, point blank.

I'll give you Doug Free. I'm still high on Felix. Spencer and Jenkins have fizzled.

This team has been carried for the past 3 years by Bill's guys. We've added nothing outside of Dez Bryant, whom fell in our laps at 25.

Romo, Barber, Witten, Austin, Colombo, Gurode, Kosier, Spears, Ratliff, James, Newman, and McBriar. All have roots to the Tuna.

Davis, Roy, Igor, Brooking, Ball, Sensy, Buehler, and a long list of collassla draft busts have roots to Wade, Tom, and Jerry.

Felix, Spencer, Jenkins, and Free are your only bullets here and the jury is still out on most of them as well.

Players have performed better under Phillips than they ever did under Parcells.

It is pretty funny to act like Gurode and Barber and Colombo are such pillars when they've stunk this year and everyone sees it. Bradie and Spears aren't anything special, either, and never have been.

As for guys like Felix and Jenkins, well, even Ratliff isn't playing anything like he has in the past.

It's just one of those perfect crap storm years. Doesn't mean all the players stink.

It's also not Tom's fault that Jerry got jumpy and blew two high picks on the Roy trade.

With a strong hc and coaching staff, the young players should reach a higher plateau. I can't slam the scouting dept while this coaching staff is in place. The two issues bleed together. Seems to me that several players either flatlined or regressed once they secured their position. With a new hc and a more competitive atmosphere, the younger guys could start to look a lot better.

What team have you been watching this year?

Can we finally see the episode where Tom eats Jerry?
