Tom Brady and Randy Moss skipping Pro Bowl

Brady has a bit of an excuse. Moss would have gone had the Patriots won, of that I am certain.

I bet you are right, either way I am so glad Moss didn't get the ring.

I'll bet T.O. is thrilled that the "other 81" is still ring-less.

Moss has never gone to the pro bowl why would him winning a super bowl be any different?

Guess a free trip to Hawaii means more to us bumpkins than these guys.

I'll bet both would have gone had they won the game. Belicheck kind of permeates the entire organization doesnt' he?

Okay well... I do know for a fact he attended his rookie year. He almost caught a circus catch from a deep post but dropped it. And the commentators were completely surprised by the drop, and glorified his young freakish abilities for literally the entire quarter.

He is a sore loser. Players always try to get out of the Pro Bowl when they lay an egg in the playoffs so, it's nothing new either way.

I don't see how this makes Brady/Moss sore losers... they're pissed about losing and are in no mood for the Pro Bowl. Would you rather them get over the loss instantly and be seen laughing it up in Hawaii a few days after blowing a perfect season?

Tom should have skipped his visit to NY
Tom should have made Gazelle stay home for the SB

Randy should have not beat down that woman.

Romo went.

You're joking right? 31 other teams are in the same boat. So only the Giants players should show up for the Pro Bowl then? Or Giants player I should say, seeing as that only Osi made it.

Romo had weeks to get over the botched snap. He said he didn't leave the house for a couple weeks after that game, so chances are he wouldn't have gone to the Pro Bowl if the botched snap occured in the Super Bowl.

Brady and Moss have what... 3 days before they were to be in Hawaii? After a DEVASTATING last minute Super Bowl loss that completely erased their 18-0 season? After blowing a chance at etching a spot in history as possibly the greatest team of the Super Bowl era?

And you guys blame them for not wanting to put on a fake smile and partake in the Pro Bowl festivities just a FEW DAYS after enduring THAT kind of disappointment???

Sorry... but no, HELL NO there are not 31 teams in the same boat. No team in the NFL is even CLOSE to being as upset and disappointed RIGHT NOW than the New England Patriots. I don't blame Brady or Moss.

Sorry they are in the same boat. They're not the champions. Just like the 30 other teams, whether they went 18-0 or not. After they lost that game, the 18-0 was no different than Dallas' 13-3.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I do see your point. They don't have as much time to get over the lost as all the other teams. And like Dave said, I really don't care, because now Derek Anderson gets his first Pro Bowl, and I really thought he deserved it anyway.

That I agree with 100%. One winner, 31 losers.
