Video: Tom Brady Breaks Down Joe Milton

If he can learn to manage the game. Stick with proper technique and improve his accuracy he could play in this league. He has a great arm but playing QB requires so much more. I’m stoked at seeing what they can do with him. Guys like him are why I hated shorter pre seasons. Those pre season games aren’t really for vets but those reps guys at the bottom of the roster got were huge. Players need reps to develop and practice doesn’t get you the same kind of reps
As for reps, we'd be wise to be getting him mental reps right now. Then coaches can bring him up to speed day by day.

I really like his skill set.

My comp is, sure, maybe Cam Newton. But really Jalen Hurts. I like Milton's arm and he can really run.

You know who also had a problem with accuracy earlier on? Jalen Hurts..

Assuming Dak has two years left in him, Milton might have a decent chance to succeed.

Otherwise, a denial of the necessary time to develop his skills, it'll probably be tough sledding.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the mental aspect of his game requires additional refinement.

I'm not going to lie to you. Milton might have a tad bit more athletic talent than Cooper Rush.

But just by a smidgen.

Im not going to lie to you. Milton has NFL level arm strength, Cooper Rush has the arm strength of a junior college quarterback. Plain and simple.

All the guy needs is to be in the right system, and there is serious potential.
