Tom Brady's stolen jersey from this year's historic Super Bowl has been recovered after being found in the possession of an unidentified member of the international media, according to the NFL.

The league announced Monday that Brady's game-worn jerseys from Super Bowl LI and another, missing from Super Bowl XLIX, were retrieved after an investigation led by the FBI.

The jerseys were found in Mexico and currently are being authenticated by authorities, Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo said, according to KRIV-TV.

I am so relieved that the FBI was able to retrieve it. I was also comforted to see that other law enforcement agencies were also involved in the search. I was starting to think nobody cared. I think the public outcry was the reason more men were added to this hotbed of a story. Its so encouraging to see our tax dollars being put to a good cause instead of just some other murder, terrorism act, or national security.
I lost a shirt a while back- Think I'll call them

I bet this was treated like a joke by every agency involved, and they were surprised that they actually found them.

I know right, who cares about the dozen teenage girls being kidnapped and forced into slave labor right in our nation's capital. Nope, we needed to find that jersey. Lives depended on it.

I would love to know how this even got to the FBI. Who was the jerk that said "lets get the FBI in on this" and why didnt the FBI just hang up when they got the call? a $200 shirt? They worked internationally to get it back. Sad.

Certainly a serious waste of valuable resources. 200 bucks!! Its costs about 4 dollars to produce. lol. The FBI!!
