What would you think if this happened tomorrow?

Ain’t happening. Ramsey isn’t worth the contract he signed.

How? Reports are that it is unlikely we will have Revel or Diggs to start the season. We need another cb. I'm not saying it has to be Ramsey but we will sign somebody before the season who can play CB in this league.

Why? We have Diggs, Bland and drafted a dude. You can "never have too many corners" but in this case...I believe we would have too many. They are all going to want to be on the field and they all would have a good case for that. Waste of a spot to get Ramsey IMO...unless you are going to offload a contract or two the way Pitt did with Pickens.

I think Ramsey is and has been one of the most overrated players in the NFL.

Honestly, I'm not sure Jerry would be interested even if he were released and a free agent.

It wont happen here, but I think Ramsey is going to have a prolonged career at a high level after moving to Safety similar to Charles Woodson.

Meh, isn't Ramsey a downgrade at this point of his career? I think I might want Gilmore instead. I know Ramsey plays safety and some corner, but we really need a pure cb more. I'm not seeing how Ramsey moves the needle. I rather go get a CB and a DT like Buckner.

I don't think Diggs has any trade value with his injury history and large contract.
I would love to be wrong.

His contract is very team friendly.

Don't exaggerate, the fact that a Pickens-type trade was made, which doesn't happen all the time, doesn't mean they're going to keep bringing in players like they're buying bread. It's not Madden, they have to prove what they already have first.

Like him, don't love him, don't see the need or fit for a player that's on the downhill slide. Rather have a guy like Gilmore that we already know well, and he fits as a pure cb.
