As usual just want to see the new players and how they perform. Are they doing what they are supposed to do. I don’t care if it’s against 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team players.

I'm always looking at line play and will again tonight. While the offense will be basic, I want to see guys winning physical battles up front.

Also, let's see the kickers make the kicks they're supposed to make. An occasional 58 yarder is great, but don't miss any short ones. Show some reliability, please.

All I care about are injuries. Starters wont be playing so nothing really matters.

Watching how physical the team plays. That is and has been an area of focus since before the draft.

And the rest of the rookies. That’s primarily what I always watch for in preseason. Finding a good UDFA is like getting a free high draft pick. It doesn’t happen often, but I’m always watching out for that. Maybe Houston, Bell, or Hendershot.

I’ll be watching DeRon Bland closely because I think he might make it if he plays well in the games. I think he’s better than your typical late round pick. We’ll see.
