Do not spin it any other way.

If Romo loses this game, he will be mocked and dismissed as a Fantasy Football QB in the early stages of Bledsoehood.

Don't tell me about 4 years of being over a 90% QB rating etc , or 4k yards, it will all be for not.

And I agree 100% time for Romo to win a playoff game, and shed the monkey.

People don't like Romo, his quick success, the women, the smirk, the backwards hat etc. For whatever reason, plus he's on TV every week Nationwide.

And it's time to shut these people up.

sorry, but the way wade's defenses play, that's a big ole VALIDATED stamp.

I'm not ready to say that juuuuust yet.
Sure, the last month has been top-notch, but I'm not ready to erase the Giants game from my memory ... perhaps it was the wakeup call they needed, seeing Jacobs gallop to end zone after shedding 5-6 defenders, or Hixon doing the same. I hope so.
But it's going to take awhile for that embarrassment to dissipate.

Their careers have not finished yet. If they win two straight Superbowls starting next season, then no one will think that at all outside of this offseason through next years playoffs.

Romo will be ?'d until he wins a playoff game...but i still believe in him...win or lose.....and i wouldn't trade him for ANYONE

In regards to Romo, I think this game has very little significance.

Romo is in a spot where if he wins this game but loses next week the goal posts will just get moved on him again "Can't win a playoff game on the road".

Unless he wins the Super Bowl this year, I will guarantee you Romo will wear the label of choker. I hate that but some people are just that ignorant.

So I disagree, a win here does not get the monkey off his back. I hope you are right but I highly doubt it.

That big ole VALIDATED stamp you have on Wade is for being a DC. You'll be hard pressed to find anyone to argue with that. Wade validated as a HC? No way. JJ would have already extended him if he was validated as a HC. He MUST win this game to even be considered.

He could play lights out as in the 2nd Giants game & San Diego game and the team still come up short.....

he cant do it alone.........the team has to stay at the consistent level its been at during this run....

with Guys stepping up big game to game.......Spencer, Witten, Austin, Fexlix, Jenkins, TNew etc

Tony: He has another 7+ years.

7+ ?

Tony Romo is going to play at a high level until he's 36+ years old?

I mean, I hope so but...

I agree, Romo is scrutinized more than any QB in the league, and like it or not people love to hate the Cowboys, especially their leader/face of the franchise.

I agree ... a deep playoff run is what Romo (and Wade) need to get the monkeys off their backs, no question.
- A win last week was clutch, and it was nice, but it wasn't a playoff game.
- A win this week will erase the "playoff win" drought, but that's not the goal.

I refuse to buy into the media created statistical BS. This is Phillips 3rd year and he has got the defense set up with the players he wants,,, they look great. Garrett appears to finally have the offense clicking. Romo has a good attitude and his skills are improving. The team's draft picks look like winners so by all appearances this franchise is doing the right things.

THIS SHOULD BE THE BASELINE FOR THIS FRANCHISE and Wade helped create it, he can be the coach to maintain this baseline.

I've long believed that the key to being a Super Bowl winner is to have a solid baseline every year because anything can happen in the playoffs and you are going to lose in the playoffs(the other teams are good too, eh) so you need to make consistent appearances and when you're lucky enough to have a healthy team and a couple of special players you can win it all.

Forget the stupid statistics, there are too many variables involved,,, believe your eyes instead: This franchise is healthy and doing the right things.

Football is a big game sport and TR needs to come up huge tomorrow night as does Wade; he better have this team fired up and ready.
