Tony and his pocket presence

I don't know why he cannot tell when there are lineman about to kill him. He just has poor pocket presence, not sure he can improve at age 29, but if he could I think he could elevate him game to another level. He was great last night, but was almost sacked several times because he just does not seem to know where the guys are coming at him.

McNabb and Brady are excellant at this. Not really complaining, but he would be so much better if he could see the field a little better and know when he is about to get pounced on.

He saw them coming he did not stand there looking at them he was looking to where he could go with the ball. When he had to eat it he did and protected the ball when he did

You can't be serious. He's one of the very few who have excellent pocket presence and he can actually do something about it - evade, improvise, etc. Those guys you mentioned can't do that very well. The BIG plus is hes protecting the ball very well this year, both through the air and carrying it (taking smart sacks).

Guess Romo didnt have pocket presence when he scrambled for first downs couple of times and when Barber was clueless on the play where he forgot to take handoff from ROMO.

His escapability is unmatched. And a necessary condition for escapability is pocket presence.

He has some of the best pocket awareness of any QB in the league. It's shocking to watch at times.

Watch other QBs and you'll being to realize how amazing Romo is in terms of pocket awareness.

Wow, blind leading the blind. You guys wear rose colored glasses. Tony is horrible at times as far as pocket presence.

Seriously guys, watch Tony, yes, his athletic ability gets him out of jams a lot, but the reason he gets into these jams is lack of pocket presence.

You watch a game with Brady or McNabb and watch Tony, not even close.

I love the Cowboys and as mentioned thought I was on a board that new football.
