He was out of football for personal reasons last year, so he may not even want to continue his playing career (plus he has an injury history), but might be worth exploring bringing him back in to compete with Vickers. He just seemed to have a much greater "backfield chemistry" with DeMarco than Vickers does.

I think that move is a little radical. I wouldn't hate bringing him back to at least compete with Vickers. A good full back can make a decent run game a great run game, especially with DeMarco's creativity

Drafting Escobar might be a sign that we will go into the season without Vickers. The Cowboys already talked about using 13 personnel a lot over the weekend with Witten-Escobar-Hannah out on the field at the same time. We'll see what happens

I think they might not, too. A lot will depend on how well the TEs and the FB plays in camp, and then it comes down to available roster spots. But I don't think Vickers' spot is a sure thing.

He was a good fit with Murray; however, his issue is multiple concussions.

Jerry said recently that they were planning to carry a FB; although that could end up being more of an H-back. Hanna might be a candidate to play H-back.
