I will be nit-picky here. Tony Gonzalez was a football player and basketball player. He played football in high school and for 3 years in college. He eventually gave up playing basketball while still in college to go football only. This kid is trying to start up football. That is very similar to Antonio Gates(no college football) and Jimmy Graham(1 season of college football), but it doesn't really apply to Tony Gonzalez. Gonzalez was an All-American is final year in college. He was very well rounded as a football player coming into the NFL. These other guys are all raw.
