Recall two plays where we needed first down on a third down. Romo's passing skills got the first but with a lot more risk. Tony could have easily got the first with his legs. I hope Tony considers the "open space" against the Eagles.

The sideline throw to Williams on the last drive immediately comes to mind.

I have noticed that Tony is very hesitant to run and not just this game.

He's got an arm and he thinks with his arm. Most quarterbacks think with their arm first. I think they really have to have it coached into them to run with the ball when there's space. He doesn't have to break speed records, sometimes ANY Yards will do.

I do think he's passed on the run quite a bit this year in favor of trying to make a play with his arm instead. I would think yesterday the problem had more to do with his back then anything else.

He barely got touched several times yest & hit the ground.

Seemed something was wrong because he looked soft there. And he's not. I never listened to the booth guys much yest to hear if they mentioned he was hurt. It just seemed very un-Tonyish (!) to me.

Romo's likely always going to favor making a play with his arm over running. I'd like him to run more too, but it's just not likely to happen.

you do remember he hurt his leg and back right?

He can "get away" with all the passes in the game.. I could care less.

As long as the scoreboard at the end reads that Dallas has more points than the opposing team..

Especially when it is Washington.

Dallas Cowboys training staff is just incompetent. I thought the prize would go to our DC or HC, but these guys may have surpassed them in ineptitude.

He had plenty of open space on the game winning TD to Murray as well. Bet you are glad he did not run then.

On that play I think you are right. I think Tony should have ran for the 1st he had no one in front of him and it would have been easier conversion than the pass to Williams. By the way great catch Williams!!!!
