From Sportskeeda which wont allow copy and paste. Pauline a draft guy but very well connected in the league FWIW.

1) Looking to draft a WR top 2 rounds to help free up Cee Dee.

2) Front 7 in particular run stoppers an early emphasis in the draft.

3) Want Brock Hoffman back but don't really want to pay him.

4) Unhappy with the O Line development and unsure if Solari returns, gets help, or gets replaced.

Running game will help free up CD.
Isn't Hoffman an exclusive rights FA?
Wanna fix the front 7 get Parsons off the line on early downs and sub a smaller DT in at DE. Mazi is a waste of time. His runstopping grades are very poor. Time to cut and move on.
O Line needs players bad. Everything outside of Smith and Beebe needs upgrades. Guyton is trash and the OL version of Taco.

The number 1 thing is a dominant runner and a backup for him that is also a good back.

Guyton trash after one year? We knew he wasn’t a polished product. Why even bother rooting for the team?

Because I don't drink the juice Jerry sells to you. I already can see it. Zero strength, always leaving the game with minor injuries. This guy wont be in the league in 4 years and the only reason why he will be in the league for 4 years is because of his draft spot and hey it's Jerrys team.

The book isnt closed on Guyton, but I dont think people realize just how bad Guyton was this season. His 2024 showed that he was no where close to NFL ready and it would be a mistake to just pencil him into the starting lineup for 2025. He should be forced to earn a starting spot.

Would love to see WR and front 7 defenders early. Hope it happens!

The fact that he doesn’t have running back at all in his write up is suspicious to me but the Cowboys have problems all over the place so I can’t dispute anything he says. Pauline has a good source with the Cowboys so I believe what he heard is probably correct. I just think he left running back off his report for a reason.

The offensive line coaching has been an issue for awhile. Tyron and Martin covered the line development issue up for years. These new guys on the line need coaching.

The Joneses have lots of work to do this offseason. Hopefully no family yacht trips at the start of free agency this year.

Not according to this well connected insider.

You continuously saying it doesnt make it true. This team wont draft a back high because they feel they got burned by Zeke.

Just like the dont pay a lot for free agents because they feel they got burned by Brandon Carr.

You refuse to see the truth with this FO.

They dont do anything until they need to. They arent proactive.

This turned out to be a wasted season with the injuries but I still wish they found a way to keep Tyron with a 1st round pick for LT.
You know, let the guy show he's ready to start and not be forced. And with Tyron, at some point in the season Guyton would of gotten some games.

Pauline remains the best insider in the business, what he says is what his sources are telling him.

We have been discussing 1 & 2 on this board for weeks and it makes total sense along with adding a RB.

Yeah this was my thought process from the moment Guyton was drafted. Tyron would have been the perfect player for developing Guyton. Tyron could have started taking some pressure off Guyton, but you still could have gotten Guyton plenty of practice reps as well as have gotten him a few starts during the season to give Tyron build in off weeks to keep him 100%. It honestly could have benefited both players.

To fix their ground attack this is what is needed:

1) must fix their rushing scheme-we already heard that they are trying to pry away the Cardinals OL coach to become our OC. They were 10th in the league with a ton of injuries to their OL.

2) upgrade the talent at the running back position

3) determine if they need more personnel upgrades within the OL, who replaces Zach? Should they add a veteran tackle for insurance?

4) develop their in-house talent and determine who is ready to become a full time starter

Been talking about stopping the run since we have started, along with adding another alpha receiver opposite Lamb. As for RB, they can go in many different ways: they can find a legitimate bell cow or more of a dual rushing attack.

I think if they put the 12th pick up for sale they could fill lots of needs. The Cowboys need so much. You can turn the 12th pick into 3 other top 4 round picks.
