Yup, same guy we can "easily replace" with a middle round rb, according to some of our resident experts.

They should've made him an offer this past off-season.

this is what people forget when making the argument. Pollard should get his 15 but zeke should be given the rest to keep pollard fresh so he can be explosive.

I have zero issue with thunder and lightning and I’d like to see a little pony package too.

Zeke is more durable and pollard is more explosive, use them as such and we will have a devestating run attack that will open the pass

Theyyve done pretty good this year. Id like to see pollard get a few more carries at times but overall prettyy good usage for both. I only wish they'd had been doing this sooner in pollards career.

Pollard does not look like he has the stamina to be the bell cow. He said he was done after less than 20; 14 rushes and 1 reception.

A RB needs to be able to take the load; 15 + rushes a game and NOT be worn out; gassed; done

Obviously he is better than Zeke but he told his RB coach he was done and had nothing left after his last touchdown against the Bears. That wasn't after touching the ball 25-30 times that week or any other week prior.

He can't handle being a feature back. He's a deluxe role player.
Tired after a 50 yard run, not 3 and a cloud of dust.

And no one really expects him to have 25-30 carries per game. Neither should an overpaid slow back getting paid like a superstar.

He's #1 in yards per rush for a Non-Quarterback. He's 4th in the NFL among all players. Behind Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Justin Fields.

Zeke 109 carries 4.1 average
Pollard 81 carries 6.2 average

What do you think is the reason Pollard only gets 10 carries per game? Is it because they don't trust him enough running between the tackles? I don't think it's as simple as "Jones are married to Zeke."

For me personally, I'm willing to just try the 6.2 yard guy for a few more games to see what happens. I'm not saying not have Zeke entirely. For short yardage situations, and certain passing plays I'd have Zeke (altho you can't always have Zeke otherwise they'll know it's a pass play), but I'd definitely try Pollard for most of the 1st and 2nd down carries. Zeke just creates 3rd and long situations too often, more than I'm comfortable with.

Yep and according to the Zeke apologists Pollard owes it all the Zeke for wearing down the defense for him.

Just like last week when Pollard had his best day in his life with no Zeke at all.

Last season, Dalton Hilliard and Rashad Penney were #1 in yards per rush by a non-QB. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
