Pollard had 15 total touches Sunday with Zeke on the sideline cheering.
He had 13 the week before.
12 the week before that.

People are just a little too simple.
The offense came out and crushed the Bears all day.

TP had 14 carries, NON-Pollard had 15 carries.
There really is no issue here except that TP looked great.

I am completely agnostic over whom starts. Get TP his 15 touches a week and the rest is just talk for talking's sake.

I like Zeke more than I ever have. He seems to have matured into a much more focused player. He's out of the media's focus. He's incredibly supportive of his teammates. Committed pass blocker. BUT, his best days and plays are behind him. Pollard is a MUCH more explosive runner and should be getting the bulk of the carries.

As far as wearing Pollard down, yeah, it probably will. But outside of a very select few RB's, they all wear down quickly. SO many of you here screamed that RBs don't last when we were taking Zeke at 4. I didn't buy into that. I thought you were all wrong. He was fast and strong. Generational even. His speed was gone almost immediately. It certainly didn't last until he matured as a player. No way you take him at 4. No way you give him that sort of second contract when we did.

Run Pollard 15 times a game. Zeke becomes the hammer to close out halves and games. He could even be Pollard's lead blocker. Sure, Pollard will wear out. I'm convinced now that that is a given for that position regardless of the player. Emmitt is one of the very few exceptions.
