I await to see how Kellen M. schemes to use him in reg. season games begins As both dual role receiver and runner.
That is going to be so critically key.
I’ll also wait to see how Pollard handles himself as an instinctive runner between the tackles- that will allow to continue effectiveness in run plays while zeke rests. he wont get many carries there but It’s the splash runs and hard yards in limited carries he does get.
I really do want to see if he has the idea plus- vision and run instincts to sense lanes/holes and create plus runs rather than be Rod Smith 2.0 in dancing, hesitating, running up the back of OL and being crunched in backfield to no gains and losses.
Such kind of runner gives zeke no breathers and relief breaks.
And I’ve wanted that instinctive back that makes It easier on the OL, rather than the OL is forced to move pile for him .. or else.
-Plus if Pollard shows up very big as a run threat, opposing teams all the more won’t be able to predict and dictate what he will do.. or what we will do, .. once he gets into the game.
