Did you really just make a thread about Pollard playing WR, and justify it with highlights of him running the ball?:huh::huh:

I'm confused as to how that makes sense?

Zeke is not our best running back. Pollard is.

Pollard's run yesterday ignited our offense.

Because of his contract, Zeke is one of the most replaceable players on our team.

Dallas has a lot of great tools, they just have to learn how to make best use of them. Tony has been a big man in most games. T Pollard is not far behind Zeke in stats and much less carries.
As a change of pace back...that is his job. They experimented running tony up the middle against the eagles and that didn;t work out to good. And let eagles get beeline on Cooper several times.

Pollard does his magic when we send him away from the o-line. Or more slanted, at least.

But we still must run up the middle we make Zeke do that.

Different players, different skill, different plays. Surely you have noticed?

Don't agree with this. The 1-2 punch has been pretty effective. Replacing Elliott's role in it might not be that easy. I do agree that the contract is too high for that role, but there have been a lot of running backs come and go who cannot do what Elliott does.

Next year, we either need to give him a pay reduction or go fishing, but there's no guarantee we'll catch a prize fish. We shouldn't act like there is.

How many more threads we going to have about these players? They're RBs, folks. One is a change of pace back, the other is a rapidly aging bruiser back. Nothing special.

Elliott has become a one trick pony. There are many running backs that can do what he does even better in the late rounds or free agency. Next year we can get someone that can actually break tackles and take it to the house if need be. And we won't need to spend a #1 draft pick to get one.

How can you tell before you post it?
In actuality, anyone who has ever paid attention to these words at the beginning of each game's telecast:

“This telecast is copyrighted by the NFL for the private use of our audience. Any other use of this telecast or any pictures, descriptions, or accounts of the game without the NFL's consent is prohibited.”

...should know practically everything posted on the league's YouTube channel page must have the NFL's permission first before it can be viewed without restrictions on a non-YouTube site. The NFL makes exceptions but those are rare.

However, it is not necessary for the OP to understand any of the above. Trial-and-error of grabbing-and-posting dozens (hundreds???) of videos from the NFL's YouTube channel onto CowboysZone should have provided this understanding instead.

There may be some, but fans always see replacing players as a lot easier than it is. Remember when Bo Scarbrough was some great late-round find? Or how about Mike Weber of Darius Jackson? Joseph Randle good enough for you?

Out of eight backs taken by us since 2011 (when we got Murray), only three have had much success (Elliott, Murray and Pollard). Now, all three of those were the only ones taken before the fifth round, but either we've been real lucky or real good at drafting because not every team can say that.
