Tony Pollard should average 15-20 touches

TP is very good, as a change of pace back. He's effective in that roll. But the dude isn't a #1 RB. The moment you try to feed him more and make him the center piece, is the moment his numbers will decrease. Use him yes, absolutely get him involved in specifically designed plays just for him. But please don't try to feature him and force feed him, or you'll kill his effectiveness.

Zeke had 14 carries a game last season, I would think Pollard numbers would increase but 15 to 20 carries? I highly doubt that.

But because Zeke doesn't get 20 yards each run Kellen gets mad and gets pass happy

Well, I think Turpin should return KO and punts so that would bring Pollard's touches down a bit.

Offensively, I think 8-10 carries is realistic, plus a few receiving targets. I would love to see him get more like 10-15 carries a game and 5 targets but I'll believe it when I see it.

So, in summation, I think 10-12 touches a game is realistic.

If I'm not mistaken, run blocking is Tyler Smith's forte. Hopefully, he can lead the way for our RBs to get some big yardage.

Would be great. Go back to a 2016 style. Run the rock and shorter passes..

I think that Pollard will be used a little more...but not as much as some seem to want!...He's not a 3 down back like Zeke. KM is a very good OC IMO... So if Dallas can get some decent Oline play to set up run & pass blocks, then I see both backs prospering in running and receiving!

Feed Zeke.. The most complete back we have on this team when it comes to pass protection and running the ball between the tackles. The physicality Zeke brings is very is under appreciated on this board and a complete head scratcher.

Need to see more of Pollard otherwise I will not be happy watching him light it up next year for another team - you just know that will happen.

Not sure about that amount of carries but involvement in the offence, yes. Zeke gets gassed and taps out too much for my liking (I truly believe his aerobic fitness is to blame) so stop that happening and let him rest. He'll be more effective that way and Pollard gets to finally show us what he's got.

Agree 100% but for an offense that lost Cooper and Wilson, he's a very good alternative. Let's use him.....

Everyone has to do their part. KM may want to use him more in the passing game but TP has to get open, Dak has to make the read and throw, the OL has to block, etc. It's not just the OC that has to get him more involved or use him. I expect him to get between 8-12 rushes per game, how many other touches he gets will be up to everything stated above.

It’s not just carries, he needs to get touches in the passing game too
Before he hurt his foot last year they were about even in carries
He’s not gonna get 20 Carrie’s and neither is Zeke
I’m guessing 12-14 carries but got to get pollard the ball and that has to be part of the passing game
One thing for sure, carries will be about effectively running the ball. If the oline doesn’t create holes you can’t just run 3 times and punt
