They focused on him and was easy for their defense when he was out. Thanks $15 man.

The second half was Dak forcing the ball to CD every play. Tony Pollard kept us balanced. Such a shame.
The biggest shame of it all was that that play was intentional. Rewatch the replay. It's intentional.

They would have found a way to run Zeke with little imagination for Pollard in the passing game.

that is why u pay a qb $50,000,000 a season and have him eat up over 20% of the cap by himself

6 points with him and 6 without.

Yea, not seeing it.

6 for 22 and 2 for 11 on runs/ catches.

I really can’t believe the un-luck there.
That and Maher picking a bad time to get the yips.

If it was a regular Maher -before the half we might have went for a FG instead of forcing it with Dak.

Same thing in the second half - when we got that intention delay of game to punt - with the old Maher we might have tried that 57 yard FG.

And once Pollard went out, SF knew we couldn't run so they just teed off.

Yes Dak wasn't all that but we might not have needed Dak as much if we had a kicker and Pollard to keep the D honest.

I mean the team was getting dominated at the interior so Zeke was not going to be the RB of choice. Zeke does not have the burst to be an outside runner and Pollard does so without Pollard there was not going to be a running game as the OLine was not going to win their blocking matchups.
