Tony Pollard was sorely missed

That and Maher picking a bad time to get the yips.

If it was a regular Maher -before the half we might have went for a FG instead of forcing it with Dak.

Same thing in the second half - when we got that intention delay of game to punt - with the old Maher we might have tried that 57 yard FG.

And once Pollard went out, SF knew we couldn't run so they just teed off.

Yes Dak wasn't all that but we might not have needed Dak as much if we had a kicker and Pollard to keep the D honest.
All great points. Too much to put on Dak. But still. Not his best game. You can't throw those picks.

I’m

and a receiver who runs a 4.4 or faster.

Tolbert is the first fast WR we have drafted in forever but he wasn’t ready to play.

Maybe he will be next year.
They have Fehoko. I wanted one of those guys to step up. But they only recently reactivated Simi Fehoko.

Losing Pollard messed with Dak's head. Dak went downhill when he felt the realization that he had to win it by himself.

The second half was Dak forcing the ball to CD every play. Tony Pollard kept us balanced. Such a shame.
Definitely there was that one Zeke run where he had a huge hole that looked like it would be a big gain. Zeke got tripped up, Pollard may have housed that one.

Yeah. The issue is both guys are/were raw. They really need them to develop or have to draff someone else.

Especially that first one - I think the CB was ahead of Gallup before or right as Dak let that ball go.

On the flip side, it’s hard for Dak to be “all that” with out a ground game against the best defense in the league.

We saw the downside of pretending Elliott has value tonight. When it was only him, we were done with the ground game

I agree, as soon as he was out, the offense became inept.

The biggest single reason we lost is Dak. No matter what anyone tries to claim.

Malik has shown he brings more to the table than Zeke. Unforgiveable to have continued giving Zeke carries while Davis sat on the bench. Davis can run circles around Zeke. I'd bet 1k that Davis would have scored a TD on that carry that Zeke had near the goal line where he just ran it straight into the line; the field was wide open for Zeke to bounce it out wide left for a TD. Davis would have scored, no question in my mind

Pollard is one touch away from a home run. Losing him killed us, but perhaps even worse is thinking Zeke could pick up the slack. Davis should have stepped in the moment TP went down. Zeke should have been on the bench. ARGH!!!!!!
