Hmmmm. I wonder how a collar protects one from brain injury. Reduce whiplash? Support the neck muscles?

But since I did I will save you the trouble.

It said since the brain floats around in the skull this device by applying pressure it pushes and keeps blood in the brain and skull and reduces how much it moves.

So the less it moves the less it can hit the skull causing any damage.

Thanks. I actually did click the website. I guess I didn't look carefully enough because I didn't see where it said the reason the band worked.

Found where it says how it works. I think it's awesome that the mechanism is inspired by woodpeckers.
