Romo played a heck of a game and so far he has played a heck of season, however, I'd be lying to you that on that last drive I had a feeling of dread that Tony was going to make the 'big' mistake.

Maybe it's because I so desperately want to see Romo redeemed and be able to tell Tony haters how wrong they are OR I just wanted Romo to finish the day with one of the greatest single game QB performances ever.

Heck, I am selfish, I was hoping he could break Von Brocklin's single game passing record.

Having said all that, however, I FEARED the big mistake and it occurred.

I really struggle sometimes with how I truly view Romo.

PercyHoward does a fantastic job of statistically and methodically explaining why Romo is an amazing elite QB, how he is clutch, how he is great in the 4th quarter, etc ,etc... and I eat all of that up -- I love it.... BUT..... when the game is on the line I sit there petrified Romo is going to make the BIG mistake and for some reason it seems to happen more often than it should

Like I said, know what you're talking about before you post. You asked what happened and I answered. Unfortunately, the answer didn't fit your agenda.
No, you are giving orders and acting like you make rules on the board. You don't, so think what you say ,before saying something.

What can I say about Romo? I remember how hopeless it seemed before he became our qb. No matter what you think about our team Tony gives us a chance to win every week. I love Tony he is the the reason I got excited about Cowboys football again when he came around a few years ago.

I think this was the best j saw romo play in his entire career
I was upset at the pick but was more sad for romo because this is the second great opportunity he has squandered to change his perception (the skins game last year was the other recent one). In both games he had the ball in his hands at the end with the potential to win but threw picks .

I appreciate him a great deal. He was fun to watch. Someday I hope we and he win it all because he deserves it the way he plays football. His play has been the most enjoyable thing watching the Cowboys over the last 6-7 years. He will go down as one of my favorite Cowboy to watch play just because of all the special plays he has made.

Romo has had more than a couple of occasions to change the perception that he is a choker. My phone went off the hook last night with "I told you so's."

It's annoying but...........there sure is an element of truth to it all.

appreciation? Please take the check down to Murray and not lose it on a pick.

Please block a 3 man rush - please play defense, please don't hold the LB - please cover the TE - Please cover the RB - Please don't fumble the ball -(please switch hands)

and please Romo play perfect football because that is the only chance the Cowboys have of winning!!!!

I could go on!

Nice post
I harken back to what BP used to say about romo
Romo has the talent but to win a championship he needs a strong HC and/or an OC who will direct him
Garrett and Callahan are not that IMO

Give romo Jim harbaugh or Sean Peyton and watch him win a championship

They fought hard - the better team won - plain and simple.

See my post below
I think some of this is because he is asked to do too much
Garrett and/or Callahan should calm him down

The reality is though that if the offense plays even close to as good as yesterday, we will win a lot if games
Most of the blame for yesterday goes to the defense

I'm giving you good advice. You don't have to listen to it but it would be wise to IMO.

Stats do not account for the human emotion of the game...the pressure, the simple decision making in crucial times...no, Romo is not and will never be a wartime consigliere, even though he is being paid as such.

It would be wise for you to rewatch the game on the news section and then if you can tell me Romo played as good in the 2nd half of San Diego game as he did in the 1st half of the San Diego game then I won't say anything further on the matter . Follow your own advice " Know what you're talking about before you post. " Also, I'm not taking advice from someone who thought Romo played good in 2nd half of San Diego game.

Romo played an excellent game yesterday against the Broncos, and the offense overall was very good.

Here's hoping he one day has a competent NFL team around him before he retires.

If those players do their jobs and catch the passes, Romo's 2nd half in that game is good. But they killed drives, not him.

135/188, 71.8%, 8.1 ypp, 13 TDs and 2 INTs, 114.3 rating and NO defense to help him out. NONE.

Insane.............

The guy is having an all time great season and, sadly, probably won't even get voted to the probowl.
