hey dallas people, i'm from tulsa and a dallas / ou fan since '67 age 6. oklahoma is dallas country no matter what anyone may say on a message board or booing at a thunder game. tony romo is a great qb and we're lucky to have him. i've said before that if tony was on the '92 cowboys we would have still won the super bowl. he has been unlucky to be on average teams and average coaches. I still think when the words came out of jerry jones mouth 'Jason garret' instead of jon gruden or john fox, I knew it would be more of the same unimpressive drafting, unimpressive management and coaching. ofcourse we all like Jason garret, he's the likeable hero on thanksgiving day 1994. the red bomber. but head coach of the cowboys. no. we didn't and still don't have time for a coach on a learning curve. you go out and get the best coach you can get. jon gruden was my vote. or pete carroll was available along with john fox. but we all know jerry jones control game plus when the owner is setting up deals and events etc...the general manager is NOT working!
but tony romo, on behalf of my fellow oklahomans I apologize! go tony romo! go cowboys!
