I saw Deion saying something about how good Romo was when he played pickup game against him.

It doesn't suprise me since good basketball players are some of the most athletic people on earth.

i just flipped on the wizards game and a player named butler is playing. they go on to say he won the mr basketball award in wisconsin. they than go on to say that tony romo was second. and that butler said he coudl of went pro. they played against eachother and romo dropped 30 + on him.
A guy I work with went to high school with Romo in Wisconsin. He said that Romo was dunking back in 9th/10th grades, and that he was a phenomenal athlete in all sports he played. So, yeah, he has some basketball skills.

caron butler? if so your talking about a very good basketball player

I was about to say some guy named Butler? Yes, it's Caron Butler and he's a straight baller. He was a beast at UConn and is a solid NBA player. If he was second to Caron, that tells me Tony can play. He needs to challenge the player to a little one on one.

The new ESPN magazine has a quote from Romo's offensive coordinator in college, who said he didn't know much about Romo in high school other than press clippings. But then he watched Tony play in a basketball game and knew he could be successful (as a quarterback) because of his court vision and the way he distributed the basketball.

Considering the athlete that Romo is, think Romo can hit a curve ball better than Henson? :)

Well, he WAS a Little-League All-Star in 1991 and 1992.

Hockey? Romo, you don't know Diddley....
