As Tony Romo recovers from December back surgery, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett isn’t letting him take any unnecessary risks. So, it is noteworthy to see Romo’s name on the roster of celebs and athletes scheduled to play in Saturday in the Dirk Nowitzki’s 2014 Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game at Dr Pepper Ballpark.

But a closer look shows that Romo’s position is listed as “dugout coach.”

At press time, the roster includes present and former Cowboys Dez Bryant, Terrell Owens, Jason Garrett, Bradie James, Terrance Williams and Jason Witten. Current and former Mavericks include coach Rick Carlisle, Monta Ellis, Devin Harris, Bernard James, Shane Larkin, Edward Najera, Mavs president Donnie Nelson and Jason Terry.

It should be a lot of fun.
Dirk says his old buddy Pudge is coming back to town for it. Michael Young too. So Dirk says he'll try to stack the team in his favor seeing that he lost the last two. haha

As for Tony; obviously he would not play. How dumb would that be.

Anyway, it's a good charity event.

Monta's going to be juiced. He's a huge Cowboys fan and used to wear #8 because of Aikman.

I got to go yesterday......really fun game to watch. It was nice to see all those guys out there from current Dallas sports athletes like Terrance Williams, Dez, Romo, Witten to past ones like Michael Finley, Michael Young, TO, Pudge.....I'm not the biggest baseball fan but it was solid to watch. Even got to see Jason Garrett out there. I wondered what the reception would be for certain players. I expected to hear some boos for some select few guys but there wasn't. Dirk got the biggest cheers but surprisingly after him it was probably Witten. Even TO got some love.

Are you like a stalker? Waiting for this fine example of manhood, lurking just around the corner? Do you do this often?
Carry your obbsessions to creepy limits as set for by the Stalker Association of Greater Houston Metro Area?
When did you become a internet stalker and why? Was it a void in yo life? A puppy you did not get for Christmas. A neglectful dad, an amorous and older male cousin?
Pls elaborate your stalker tendencies. I feel like I need to cleanse myself with antiseptic ever time I get your responses or creepy IMs from yew.

And I say creepy with all doo respect.
