Hey that's no insult !

Very good QB who does not have the "IT" factor to be great like Staubach or Aikman.

Nothing wrong with that as those types of QB's come along every 50 years if you are blessed.

Us Cowboy fans are just spoiled, thats all.

There are about 25 other teams that would like to have our "problem"

Danny could have very easily won us a Super Bowl if a few plays had gone the right way.

Tony Romo< Danny White

Just my opinion. I reserve the right to rethink my position at a moments notice.

Just saying he was a pretty good QB and calling him Danny White is not a pejorative term, necessarily.

Tony's a better QB than Danny, but either of those guys can win it all for you. I'd take either one for my franchise in a heartbeat.

Actually right now, its an insult to Danny White somewhat, due to more playoff victories than Romo. But at the same time, Romo didn't have the coach White had. Hopefully Garrett starts changing that equation.

Hopefully kind of like 2009 season, Romo just plays lights out here on out, much like he did after Giants game in 09. We shall see.

Danny had much better veteran talent around him. He also threw a lot of interceptions so he wasn't perfect. I would love to see what Romo would do with teammates who make plays on a consistent basis. Last night came close, but the blocked punt was a team fart. My point is that Danny White had some bonehead moments (No Danny No!), but he was literally surrounded by champions. Romo is not...yet.

i don't agree with you at all....Danny was a much smarter QB than Tony is.....
unfortunately he didn't have as much talent(talent was old and done) on his team ......
i would kill for Danny to be playing for us now....

To be fair, Danny had his fair share of turnovers at inopportune times.

Remember "No, Danny, No!"

I am not the biggest Danny White fan but he showed more by this time than Romo has. I dont remember White self destructing to that degree at this stage of his career.

listen .....Tony is what he is....a undrafted QB.....who is a huge over achiever....
i was always on his wagon ....but after last nite.....he cannot win a big game.....
tries too hard to do it all himself ....

To be fair, I don't remember Danny White choking in any of the three NFC Championship Game losses. The Cowboys were simply an older team. They had stars alright, but those starts were on the downside of their careers.
The 49ers, Eagles and Commanders were just better, younger more aggressive teams.
And White almost rallied the Cowboys to a victory over the 49ers in "The Catch" game. If only break-away jerseys were still acceptable, that washed up Drew Pearson would have scored a touchdown, putting a lid on that dang "The Catch" even before it started.

I can tell from your Sig that you are being totaly objective :lmao2:

Romo has a way to go before being compared to Danny White.

Danny White at least GOT to three championship games.

No he didn't. Romo's delivered more, as an individual player, than White did to this point.
