Hello Mr. Romo......I want to play a game. The rules are simple, in what could loosely be called your nfl career you have risen from an undrafted prospect and by fate have blossemed into an NFL starting QB. You have found yourself in the national spotlight, dating high profile celebrities and making the world quickly forget about Drew Bledsoe. But now with your once promising career on the line, time is not on your side.
Your QB rating has been decent, However.....your padded numbers have been quite deceiving. And as a result you were prematurely annointed a 'pro bowl' qb. But what exactly is that I ask? It means that hundreds of mindless armchair fans have been fooled into thinking you are a playmaker and cast their vote. But the fans obviously haven't taken a deeper look into the numbers...wins against the likes of TB, ARI, ATL, CAR were far from awe inspiring. One lucky win against the Colts don't necessarily qualify you as a superstar.
You have one chance only to atone for your pathetic facade....Next week you will go into a hostile environment...but the question is will the defending NFC champs be too hostile for you to handle? If you fail your test, you will go down in the doldrums with the rest of the high profile Dallas QB prospects....Quincy Carter, Chad Hutchison, Drew Henson, Clint Stoerner.....and with Bill Parcells inevitable demise, your job is far from secure with a new coaching staff. Save yourself from a premature demise of mediorcraty.
The choice is yours.....
