Yeah... I said it!

Have you ever seen Eli play as good as Romo three games in a row.

I dont care about drafted in 1st round vs. undrafted. Romo is "IT"

Its funny how our rookie QB is playing better than most of the Vets

I already said it in another thread, and others have as well, but not only does Romo have 'it' (aka moxie), he simply seems to have a lot more poise and confidence out there than Eli does.

Three games and just one INT... that INT was questionable. He just makes good decisions.

It has only been 3 games as a starter but I tend to agree with you especially after watching the Giants play the Bears tonight. Eli really seemed rattled in the 2nd half and had a terrible time trying to complete his passes. I also realize that the Gents have a lot of injured players but most of those are on the defensive side of the ball. Let's hope the Giants play like this against us at our next meeting!:)

I just want to give a special "shout out" to Plaxico Buress... way to go 4 catches 48 yards 0 TD's.... way to contribute and burn the heck out of the Bears DB's

this is what i said earlier in another similar thread:

Romo>>>Manning

Romo just knows how to read to quickly read a defense which is something Manning in his 3rd year as a starter still cant do, Romo is hardly sacked which is something that Eli allows a lot, and Romo never gets too low which is something Eli does a lot when they get down although i wont completely blame Eli as it can be easy having idiots like Burress and Shockey always complaining when they dont get the ball

Romo has the perfect making of a QB (ala Montana ) A combination of poise, accuracy, unbelievable scrambling and maneuverablilty while concentrating on the routes, the ability to be accurate on the run and the instincts to find opened receivers.

Not to mention, the likable makeup that makes players fight for him and the dazzling smile and heart that make fans lose their mind. WE are truly blessed around here.

Manning needs alot of work and really without the "chuck it up" play his stats would be much worse.

If Romo keeps this up for the rest of the season, we'll all be very comfortable with our QB (something we as cowboy fans haven't said in almost a decade now).

I can't wait for our rematch with the Giants in New York. I am anticipating it even more than the Colts game. Moxie shall get its revenge.

Why stop at Eli? I want to see him outperform Peyton next weekend.

As Parcells said, he is less than perfect. he could have cost us some really dumb interceptions.

The one right before the half.

and the one that he just flicked, but luckly went over the defenders head, and Crayton caught.

But with more game experience he will get better

I'll take those over the "Overthrow a wide open WR by 15 yards right into the safety's breadbasket" interception that Eli seems to favor.

Since Cowboys-Colt game was moved from 1 PM to 4PM on East Coat, sounds like Fox intends this game to be their national 2nd game. I know Colts are 9-0 but haven't been that impressed by them. They are winning but several of these games have been very close & no where as dominant as last season. I think Romo can match Manning throw for throw--particularly if our WRs don't have butter fingers. But key to game will be the play of our defense. We've got to pressure Manning all the time (heck so far we can't even pressure occasionally) and losing Ellis for the rest of season is a disaster unless Hatcher, Burnett, Carpenter or someone can step up big time. Of course that goes w/o saying that Ware has to step up his game; he's now got 4 or 5 sacks which isn't enough and Zimmer has to find a more creative way to use him (or one of the other players) to creatively get pressure and blitzing isn't the answer cause Manning loves the blitz.

It would be real big if we could somehow knock off the Colts from their undefeated perch and give us 2 wins in a row. We've got a real good chance against Tampa if we don't blow it which would give us 3 wins in a row. If we don't beat the Colts, we're back to winning 1 and losing 1 which has been our usual inconsistent way. Frankly, if we lose to Colts I really don't see any way we make the playoffs. Aren't both we and Eagles at 5-4 and tied for second place? Enough is enough.
ve got to show this game as national game to

its early but I really have to say that Romo is playing better than a vast majority of QBs in the league right now including vets.
Funny we debated the best QB in the division and little did we know that our second string QB was really the best QB in the division.
Still a long way to go in the season and Romo hasn't done it long enough to be put into the top tier class yet but over the last 3 game stretch I'd have to say that he's been in the top 10 easily...maybe 8...maybe higher. But still a long way to go before you can make a judgment as to what kind of player he's going to be long-term.
But its easy to get excited about him. He's a lot of fun to watch. In fact, I'd venture to say that he is our BEST player at any position right now. I'll also offer that I think the rest of the team holds him back with their incessant penalties and dropped passes. He probably would've had two 400 yard games by now if not for drops, and 2-3 more TDs.
