He's not really praising Dak and he's not really saying he should have sat, he's answering a specific question:

I asked Dak Prescott what piece of advice he will remember from you, and he mentioned something you told him during a Week 16 game against the Lions. Dallas had scored touchdowns on back-to-back series to start the game and you went up to Dak and said, “Hey, be ready for the defensive coordinator to change his whole game plan because you are killing him.” He said he’ll remember that years from now when he’s in a similar situation. Do you remember giving Dak that advice?

That advice is absolutely spot on. Now there are some DCs that will ride their game plan down all the way in flames but the best ones adjust quickly and you have to be looking for it. When a D changes to stop what was hurting them they expose something else; as the QB you need to be ready to capitalize on that. NOW that really is the job for the OC but as the QB you still are the one on the hot seat and need to be looking and ready.

That's a CNN headline if there ever was one. Wow. Embarassing.

CNN has gone from the leader of impartial news to an absolute quagmire of fake, over editorialized, drama laden garbage. I've never seen anything quite like it in my lifetime. How sad to see a once proud organization implode so completely.

You have obviously never turned on Faux News then?

I take it back because they were not even a "once proud organization"

I really wish we could have brought Romo back in a coaching capacity, I think Dak really benefited from having him on the sideline getting real-time feedback (from Moore as well). One or two more seasons of that would have been tremendously beneficial for Day.

Tell me about it ,back in the iran- Iraq war when they were both fielding WWI tactics of poison gas and human wave attacks against dug-in machine gun supported fixed positions we Marines would see that CNN news footage and stare in slacked jawed disbeliefo_O
They were the biggest baddest dog on the block in delivering real deal news.
