It's a good feeling on the board these days, and I really do want to play nice, but sometimes I can't help it when people start talking about how much a player has 'changed' in order to justify opinions that were so obviously wrong to begin with. I try to sneak it in with sarcasm sometimes so it's not so obvious. I do the same thing in the threads about how much Jason Garrett has learned the last four weeks. :

I can't even watch pregame shows anymore. Trying to listen morons like Keyshawn Johnson, Marshall Faulk and Warren Sapp is worse than getting all your wisdom teeth yanked out with pliers and no anesthetic.

I was spouting sarcastic bs to make the former Romo-bashers feel comfortable pretending they were justified in freaking out so long and so loud about absolutely nothing all offseason.

Other than working on ball control, which was an obvious off-season objective for him, he hasn't really changed at all. He's a great QB who gets better every offseason because he works so hard. Go figure.

Yep. I love how Romo never seems to worry about whether people love how he is playing or hate how he is playing, but instead is only focused on trying to improve himself each and every day. Because unfortunately, you can't always control whether you have a good or bad day, but you can always try to make yourself better. And that's exactly the attitude I want in a quarterback.

It looks like a lot of our so called "realist" fans perception of reality is jacked up. Need a new word for them that does not involve circumventing any filters.

I know it's cliched, and he's abused the heck out of that phrase this season, but it's exactly the approach a quarterback should take, imo.

I don't think he has changed. Sure he has grown as a player with experiance and a bit more careful in what he says to the media. I don't think he has ever had a bad additude or did not care. Romo has been a hard worker according to those at Valley Ranch since the day he became a member.

No problem at all. I think most people on the board understand generally that I leak blue-and-silver sunshine from all of my orifices. And sarcasm without smilies always gets overlooked.
