I pretty much won't drink alcohol until after 6pm. The primary reason is the second I have a drink, driving is no longer an option. If for some reason, I am going to consume alcohol and I'm not home, my wife (doesn't drink at all) will drive me, or I will Uber / Lyft or find some other safe way to commute to wherever I'm going.

Romo is easily worth in excess of $50 million dollar and possibly more than $100 million. The fact that he was drinking and driving when he had other options in inexcusable. Especially for someone with his intelligence.

They've moved to the lawyered-up phase of his rehab.

As a journalist, I hate when officials lawyer up and let their "team" speak for them. Your team didn't do anything. Get out there yourself and apologize to the world. That would mean something instead of some spokesperson saying all the prefunctory things that no one even knows if you said or mean.
