Interestingly, Vermont treats 1st offense as a criminal misdemeanor but the penalties are less severe than Wisconsin.

Maximum penalties are more severe but practically never assessed. Typical penalties are about the same in fines as Wisconsin but 90 day suspension instead of 6-9 months. You can also get approval to drive during the suspension with an ignition interlock.

Also can't cross into Canada with a DWI conviction, which matters to many in these parts.

by the way, Wisconsin will share this with Texas.

As a Texas resident, Tony is required to have a Texas DL and his license will likely be suspended here as well.

Because he refused the chemical test at the jails his revocation in Wisconsin will be a year. Texas has a six month suspension for failure to submit

I watched CBS nfl games that were not dallas mainly if Romo and Nance were the announcers.
So if they get rid of tony then I wont watch any CBS games ,unless it is a cowboy game.

Fox has most of the NFC games, so mainly will watch fox.

We're still waiting for the the results of the blood test. I wonder if that will be released before his court date.

The three charges were OWI, Driving with alcohol in his car, and improper lane change

My guess is they drop all the charges and maybe just get OWI

Tony had shooters in his car and they were unopened. The charge was for an open container found in his car before towing. Was there alcohol in the open container? I don't recall.

We also have not seen the cop dash cam video of Tony doing his unlawful lane change. We may not see that before his court date. If that evidence is solid, there's no reason at all to drop it.

Romo was already losing his popularity and CBS was looking for a way out of his contract. This altercation made it easy.

And even some Cowboys fans who were fans of his on air broadcasting had lost some favor over time. I don’t think he’s going to be missed that much .

Romo is done. CBS is probably just going to let him go quietly at some point during the offseason instead of making an official announcement this year. He should figure out another career path instead of being a game analyst. He can release his own content, provide film breakdowns, get back to the X's and O's. It obviously won't pay as much as what he got at CBS but he'd have the freedom to do what he wants. I think he got too comfortable with his CBS job...he needs to get that hunger back.

He had an open container in the passenger seat. The shooters were in a backpack. For those wondering, these are basically the airplane bottles
