News: Tony Romo, 'sore,' 'uncomfortable,' but OK

LONDON -- Observed and heard in the locker room after the Dallas Cowboys' 31-17 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium.

Feeling OK: With two transverse process fractures, Tony Romo was not only able to play but play well, putting up a season-best 138.8 passer rating while throwing three touchdown passes. He was sacked once and hit a couple of times but was able to make it through the game without any issues.

Romo did not add much padding to protect his back. He said he took a Toradol pill for the pain before the game.

"Just sore," Romo said. "Anybody that's had any broken bones, it's uncomfortable at times and things like that. But if you play football, you go play."

He played well. The o line did a real nice job today in protecting him. Now he gets 2 more weeks to rest.

I was suprised that he looked as good as he did

He would have spent less time being knocked on his *** if he'd gotten pulled a little earlier. Didn't like how we tried to get cute in the fourth quarter when the game was all wrapped up.

when me and the wide flew back on a team charter from London in 2008, we left Monday morning London time, hopefully Cowboys do the same. We also were fed every 3 hours lol (awesome airline food)
