Tony Romo tables contract negotiations

Probably wants to see how Jerry improves the offensive line this off-season before he commits to anything.

Who wouldn't?

You can only sacrifice so many broken bones to a single team.

Nice. I think seriously though, he'll be here as long as we want him here. I see no reason to try and find some underlying meaning other than Tony just honestly wants to concentrate on winning games this year and not have an outside distraction. Good on him.

^ This. There is no agenda here. Just Tony wanting his team to get better each week.

Good. Let's focus on football and winning a Super Bowl. :starspin

I think we all know Tony isn't going anywhere.

Just out of curiosity, what could he get on the open market and who would be interested?

The probably nots:

Patriots
Steelers
Saints
Packers
Giants
Falcons
Texans

But what if...

San Francisco came a calling with a 90 million dollar, 65 million guaranteed?

They might be the one team close to the top that with the right guy under center could be a huge favorite in the SB race next season.

That would be a scary thought.

I'm starting to think more and more that he's looking to move on from this team (especially if they don't actually address the oline). SF would be near unstoppable with him.

SF and Romo would have to wait to 2015 if that was the case he's under contract trough 13 and we could easily franchise him for 14, after that he might not have near the value he has now

True.

I hate looking that stuff up, actually.

I don't think putting it off until the end of the season means anything at all, but how distracting can this really be for a player? He's not on the phone negotiating terms. The agent's the one doing the work. You're just being kept informed of the situation.

I wouldnt blame him,Jerry has failed to give him a good o-line all his career.

They are not going to let him go anywhere, not next year any way. Jerry would have to use the franchise tag on him.

He would win multiple superbowls in San Fran. which would serve you Romo haters well.

If I wasn't a fan, i wish he would leave.

Just so all the fans who don't appreciate him, could suck it.

I wouldn't blame him either. There are a couple other players on this team that I wouldn't blame if they wanted out either.
