Tony Romo thoughts

Yes that is also a stat, however, that tells you how a TEAM is performing. This is not tennis. He has 52 teamates. His stats show over a period of time that he is one of the best. Top 5 in my opinion. Is Dan Marino no good because he didn't win enough?

Marino went to one super bowl and had many playoff wins.

Romo top 5 all time???? LOL!! The banter's been fun but I think I'll end it here after reading this humorous post.

we would be in the playoffs already if not for his meltdown against detroit. the jets game wasn't that bad. everyone throws picks at the end of games. the detroit game was a huge meltdown though that could cost us the playoffs.

had the defense held against the giants we would have been in playoffs...

If he comes up short again this year, at what point do you reevaluate?

If HE comes up short then you get a better defense so it's not on his shoulders every week..

we were only in that position because of detroit.

detroit was not a team loss. it was a 1 man meltdown.

you are full of crap. We still had a lead after the second pick six. I guess those those points just disapeared?

The D could have stood up and held on and instead it pissed its pants and collapsed. So to blame it all on Romo - well stupid does not even begin to describe that.

the d played well that game. if romo ever deserves a reason for a loss it's the detroit game. his worst game ever. the game was over and we lost because an epic meltdown. if anyone else shares blame with him it's the coach. we could have run the ball the entire second half and won easily.

I know your post was meant to be sarcastic. So was my response.

Narrow minded stat? I think it was a more legitimate stat than the 4th best road record for a non-SB winning QB while throwing right handed at elevations above sea level. How useless is that?

Romo apologists will continue to spout off nonsensical stats to defend him.

You're clueless. Along with many others on this site. In fact even those that appreciate Romo I'm betting they don't truly know how amazing Tony really is.

If they can build a better defense Tony can win them a SB.

well it wasn't why we lost. 14 free points was.

so in your desperate need to blame everything on Romo you ignore the D laying down. Do you really get how ridiculous you look?

Broken ribs, punctured lungs and on drugs.

Keep blaming him if it makes you feel better but we would not sniff the playoffs without Romo!
