Romo has a lot of confidence in Crayton & Hurd. At least so far all we know is that Glenn will miss just a few weeks -- not rest of the season. Crayton has been a good #3 WR. Now in the last year of his contract, he gets the chance to show he can be the #2 WR he probably always believed he could be. But who knows, maybe Hurd thinks he can be that guy so time will tell.

I think hurd and crayton can be good number two's maybe but they wont scare anyone in coverage and defensive coordinators will roll coverage to T.O. Witten will become a big factor now.

To be quite honest, Glenn being out would have hurt more if Bledsoe was still the QB.

Romo is comfortable with Hurd and Austin because he was the second string QB early last year and constantly practiced with these guys. He also has a great rapport with TO, Crayton, Witten and Fasano. TGlenn really added a dimension to our offense, but maybe this is a blessing in disguise. I'd love to see them go deep to Stanback. He's raw, but he has track star speed and appears to have decent hands. It's worth a try.

One play I will miss is the flea flicker. That was Terry Glenn's signature.

Romo LOVES TO. TO loves TO. Romo/TO will go off regardless of who's lined up next to him. Crayton could have filled Glenns role after romo took over and maybe done as well. Glenns straight ahead speed isnt necessarily as good a match for Romo's timing style.

At least they won't scare anyone YET. If they start lighting it up with all the attention going to Owens then the DC's will have to rethink their stratagies. I agree Witten will be a big factor but I thought that even before TG went down.

I was listening to The Herd the other day and Jaws said Romo's problem was teams learning his tendencies and taking away his top reads. Jaws said it ruined Romo's rhythm and screwed him on his timing.

I don't think Jaws saw the Detroit game. Did people forget that game happened? Romo was sharp that day, even with a defense that absolutely quit on him.

Yeah... and lets not forget.... Romo and company knew/know Glenn's situation.... this is not new to them... they are/have been working on contingency WR's :D
